WHAT IS STT?
Sportbike Track Time hosts motorcycle events on closed tracks for riders to enjoy the thrill and excitement of your bike's true power in the safest way possible - all while improving your riding skills and confidence with the help of our knowledgeable, fun and friendly coaches!
While all skill levels are welcome at STT events, it is important to note that we do not teach riders how to ride a motorcycle. Riders must be comfortable in moderate traffic at highway speeds.
All riders new to track time or with limited experience are required to ride in Novice, and all of our Novice riders receive instruction at STT standard events!
Each skill group at each event has a strict maximum capacity to ensure a safe and fun experience for all riders! Many of our events sell out, so be sure to register early if you’ve got your heart set on a specific event!
TYPICAL EVENT SCHEDULE
Most of STT’s events follow a standard schedule where gates open at 7am, the
mandatory
riders meeting is at 8:15, and the first group goes on the track at 9am! The track is hot from 9am to 5pm with an hour break for lunch.
At most events, riders are able to set up their pit space the night before and stay overnight! Camping is typically allowed the night before each track day.
Exact times vary by event and venue. Registered riders will receive a pre-event email with these details approximately two days prior to the start of your event.
Be sure to check out the full details on the
Sportbike Track Time Overview page
on the help menu!
BEFORE YOU REGISTER
If you’re a minor or looking to register a minor, please email contact the office for more information before registering. There may be additional requirements.
Check out our
Tech & Gear Requirements
page on the help menu; if your bike doesn’t pass tech inspection or you don’t have the proper gear, you may not be able to ride that day!
Make sure you review the
Terms & Conditions
page on the help menu. It’s short but important - this is where you’ll find cancellation policies!
Cost varies by track and is also discounted for those who are members. You'll see in each event description how much standard members save on a particular track day, but membership isn't required. You can view the full
Member Benefits & Terms
on the help menu!
READY TO REGISTER?
Registrations are done online (after creating a username and password- we do not have a guest checkout). On each event page, you'll see that there is a drop down to choose your skill level for that day’s registration. Some skill groups may not be available based on your account settings.
Placing each rider in the appropriate skill group is a MUST for a safe and enjoyable event for all. Before selecting your skill group, be sure to review them in detail on the
Sportbike Track Time Overview
page on the help menu. If you feel that your account settings are incorrect, you can email the office, but know that most bumps require an on-track evaluation by a coach.
You may also see that a skill group is sold out. If you see this message, the roster for this day is full and there are no more spots available. You can inquire about a waitlist by emailing the office.
When you've added all of the days you'd like to your cart, you can click the checkout button in the upper right corner to process your payment!
ONCE YOU'RE REGISTERED
After you checkout, you should receive
two
emails - a credit card receipt and an order confirmation that shows the registrations you purchased. If you don’t receive either of these, be sure to reach out to the office!
There is no paperwork to do before your event, but there will be two forms to sign trackside. Your registration places your name on the roster, so all you’ll need to bring is a government issued photo ID!
Keep an eye out for that pre-event email that you’ll receive two days before your event. If you have any questions about your event before then, feel free to reach out to the office!
